Frames and Birds

I have a fake red brick wall that I can't paint in my apartment.  I wanted to put something on the wall that would pop.  I used two frames from the rummage sale (previous post) and painted them white.  Then, I traced a bird silhouette from the computer screen.  I searched "bird silhouette" in Google, found one I liked, held up the paper to the screen, traced and then cut (Got the idea from oc cottage).  Then, I attached the birds to the frame with masking tape and to the wall with poster tack.

I think it is just what the wall needed!
Though, I think the wall could use something else.  What do you think?

  1. Love it! That looks great, and it was super cheap. Good idea.

  3. Very cute. I love the birds and the white definitely dresses up the brick wall. Thanks for sharing at Lines Across My Face. I hope to see you again this week.

  4. This is cute. If you think the wall needs more, maybe you could do one more, either the same or similar, and hang one slightly higher and to the left, and the other slightly lower and to the right.
