Updated Cabinet

A while ago I blogged about an old cabinet that I got from my grandma.  I finally updated it!  I'm not sure if it is completely finished but I'm very happy with the result.

My Style

I've discovered polyvore.com and I have been creating dream outfits for myself.  I love this site!  I've been able to put my ideal style into a few outfits.  What do you think?

Treble Clef Ornament

I decided to make an ornament tonight, as I was feeling in the Christmas spirit.

I used Mod Podge to put two layers of cereal box cardboard together.  Then, I used an image of a treble clef I found online and traced it onto sheet music scrap paper.  I used scissors and an exacto knife to cut the silhouette out.  Finally, I used Mod Podge again to make a glitter outline.  I'm pleased with the outcome!  It looks good on my tree, but it would also make a great gift!

Ladybug Baby Shower

This shower was a surprise for my unsuspecting sister and the baby girl she is expecting.

It was my mom's idea to put the brad in the middle of the wings so that they swing open!
